Pakistan vs Afghanistan ODI series schedule announced

The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has announced the schedule for a three-match ODI series against Pakistan, which will take place in Sri Lanka. The series is set to be held from August 22 to 26, with the first two matches scheduled in Hambantota on the 22nd and 24th, and the final ODI to be played in Colombo on the 26th.

These ODIs will provide an opportunity for Babar Azam’s side to fine-tune their combinations ahead of the 50-over ACC Men’s Asia Cup.

Pakistan’s national men’s team will gather in Sri Lanka on August 17 and will have training sessions on August 19, 20, and 21.

It is worth noting that in the four ODIs played between Pakistan and Afghanistan, Pakistan has emerged victorious in all of them. Their last encounter in the format was during the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup in 2019.

Tour Schedule:

  • August 22: First ODI in Hambantota
