Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag upbeat ahead of news season

Manchester United’s manager, Erik ten Hag, expressed his satisfaction with the progress made by the team in the previous season, as they laid the foundations for the style of play he envisions for the club in the 2023-24 season.

Ahead of the pre-season match against Borussia Dortmund, Ten Hag addressed the local media in a press conference, discussing various aspects of the upcoming game and the team’s future. He also shed light on the club’s new signings, Andre Onana and Mason Mount.

Ten Hag emphasized the significant difference from the previous season, stating, “Now we have the foundation with this squad, which we built last season. We have established the squad and the style of play, and now our focus is on finding the right players to complement the team and elevate our performance.”

He further praised the successful acquisitions of Andre Onana and Mason Mount, highlighting their contributions to the team. However, Ten Hag revealed that the club is still in search of a talented striker to further strengthen the squad.

Looking ahead with optimism, Ten Hag expressed his belief that every member of the squad, whether in the starting lineup or on the bench, will play a crucial role in Manchester United’s pursuit of success in the upcoming season.

The next highly anticipated match for Manchester United is against Borussia Dortmund in Las Vegas, scheduled for tomorrow.

In the Premier League last season, Manchester United secured a commendable third-place finish, trailing behind champions Manchester City and the second-placed Arsenal. With the foundation set and new signings on board, the team and fans are eagerly looking forward to an exciting and successful season ahead.
